Confidentiality

Section 810.010 of the Texas Health and Safety Code provides that SEMARC search results are confidential and may not be disclosed, except as authorized by federal and state law, regulations and rules, court orders, or opinions of the attorney general.

In compliance with Section 810.005(c) of the Texas Health and Safety Code, any additional information, including records, shared outside of SEMARC is for internal agency use only and may not be disclosed to authorized users without the express written consent of the disclosing agency.
